Starting businesses is great, but building something that challenges status quo, coverts a consumer group and does ultimate GOOD takes a lot more thought and effort.  This book tells Mark Rampolla's step-by-step journey to create ZICO® Coconut Water (my FAVORITE beverage), while also giving real tips on reaching higher in business endeavors what truly connect with your best self.

Poke the Box: When Was the Last Time You Did Something for the First Time?

Wow! I read this one in 2 days. It's short, but really does have the power to change your entire way of thinking when it comes to acting on ideas... regardless of fears, circumstances or people.  There is no real failure in starting something that doesn't succeed (as you want it to).  The true failure is in not starting at all.

Rich Dad Poor Dad

No shade, but my parents never really taught me the lessons from the author's "Rich Dad", so reading this book was a total eye opener.  Many of us have been conditioned to go to school, learn a very specific skill, get a "good" job, work to make a certain salary, and buy things that we can't afford. This rat race is one that I no longer want to subscribe to and am thankful that this book opened my eyes.  I plan to teach my children and others how they can be successful (building a legacy, amassing true wealth, etc.) by taking risks and doing what isn't always taught in schools.
